Geneva, N.Y. -- On Saturday, April 4, 2015, the Kiwanis Club of Geneva and the Salvation Army hosted an Easter egg hunt for Geneva area children. The event featured an appearance by the Easter Bunny, and a live DJ! There was no charge for children and families to participate, and the Kiwanis Club served about 85-100 children.
In addition to collecting Easter eggs filled with candy, every child received a raffle prize, a package of apple sauce, and a free coupon for a Frosty Dessert. The Kiwanis Club sincerely appreciates the generous donations from Wegmans, Walmart, the Salvation Army of Geneva, P.A.D.J. Music Service, and Wendy's. Several members of the Kiwanis Club of Canandaigua also graciously volunteered at the event.
