Finger Lakes, NY -- On Saturday, September 27, 2014, the Kiwanis Club of Geneva and the Finger Lakes Division of Kiwanis are hosting a used electronics recycling drop-off. Proceeds from the event will benefit Golisano Children's Hospital. The event will take place from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the following locations:
Liberty Commons -- 789 Pre Emption Road, Geneva, NY
East View Mall (outside of Food Court) -- 7979 Pittsford-Victor Rd., Victor, NY
Town of Penfield Dept. of Public Works -- 1607 Jackson Rd., Penfield, NY
Town of Arcadia Highway Dept. -- 233 Blackmar St., Newark, NY
Acceptable Electronics Donations Include: Appliances, cables, CD-ROM drives, cellular phones, circuit boards, computer speakers, CPU’s, CRT monitors, docking stations, DVD players, fax machines, hard drives, keyboards, laptops, LCD monitors, mainframes, mice, microwaves, modems, PDAs, personal copiers, printers, processor chips, scanners, servers, speakers, tape and disc drives, telephones, terminals, television, UPS battery back-ups, VCR players, and MORE!
Unacceptable Electronics Include: Air Conditioners or other Freon containing appliances, ballasts, batteries and light bulbs.
All electronics are recycled by Ewaste Systems, Geneva, NY.
